Effect of pruning and application of KNO₃ + MKP fertilizer on the generative development of several varieties of grapes (Vitis vinifera L.)

Abstract Research on grape cultivation is still rarely carried out in Indonesia (Tropical Countries) unless it by Centers, which are indeed engaged developing grapes. This study aims to examine the effect of pruning and application white Potassium Nitrate (KNO 3 ) Mono Phosphate (MKP) development generative phase several varieties. The used a completely randomized design (CRD) with two factors, namely varieties (V1: Taldun, V2: Akademik, V3: Jupiter), combinations fertilizers (P1: KNO 1 g/L + MKP g/L, P2: 2 5 P3: 7 g/L). Observations were made post-pruning bud sprouting time, percentage buds that produced flowers, flowers turning into fruit, fruit size (diameter), total soluble solids (°brix). data revealed treatment followed fertilizer accelerated better quality quantity for Jupiter variety.
